*The immediate fallout from the Oculus Takedown: Time is left unguarded, thus Rip organizes and heads a new legion of Timemasters, who fight abberations in the timeline and maintain the fabric of reality.

*The Legion of Doom will be introduced this season, and will consist of villains gleaned from across the DC-TV universe: Leonard Snart/Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller, Legends of Tomorrow), Eobard Thawne/Reverse Flash (Matt Letscher, The Flash), Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough, Arrow), and Malcolm Merlyn/The Dark Archer (John Barrowman, Arrow).

The writers are likely following the mindset that every hero deserves an adversary as malevolent as the hero is noble, therefore it makes to cut down on characters. A more limited roster also means fewer confusing plotlines, something the show struggled with in its first season.

*Sara, who has previous quarrels with Damien Darhk and The Dark Archer (Arrow) reportedly “really wants to kill these people”, as Caity Lotz said in Saturday’s panel. Which means we’ll get to see Sara’s completely unbridled rage this season!

*Nick Zano is Citizen Steel

*Heat Wave is set to become “outrageous” (a vague adjective, but we infer a lot from it) after Captain Cold’s demise. Since Captain Cold is set to reappear in the Legion, it’s safe to say Heat Wave will be a little more than upset.

*The team is set to become allied with the Justice Society of America, a governmental branch.

*Maisie Richardson-Sellers is new Legends member, Vixen.

*Jonah Hex makes a comeback in episode 6.

Season 2 of Legends of Tomorrow will premiere on Thursday, October 13th, 2016.
