It’s Tuesday again, and everyone knows what that means. New Blu-rays. This week is a relatively small week Blu-ray wise. There’s only one Blu-ray this week that this writer is going to pick up and that’s Life.

Astronauts (Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson, Ryan Reynolds) aboard the International Space Station are on the cutting edge of one of the most important discoveries in human history: the first evidence of extraterrestrial life on Mars. As members of the crew conduct their research, the rapidly evolving life-form proves far more intelligent and terrifying than anyone could have imagined. – Columbia Pictures

I missed this one in theaters but I really wanted to see it. I’ve only heard good things about it. Life has a solid cast, writers and the premise has me intrigued. Sounds a bit like Alien but who doesn’t like Alien.

This Blu-ray comes with:

  • Blu-ray Disc
  • Digital HD
  • Deleted Scenes
  • Claustrophobic Terror: Creating a Thiller in Space
  • Life: in Zero G
  • The Art and Reality of Calvin
  • Astronaut Diaries

Unfortunately there is no steelbook available for this one. If you’d like to buy this Blu-ray, you can get it here. Having not seen the movie, I don’t know what to make of the special features. Anyways I am not missing out on this one again.

Life is the Blu-ray I plan on getting this week. But here are the other ones out too:

  • Wilson
  • 8 Million Ways to Die (1986)
  •  Altitude
  •  The Bird With The Crystal Plumage (1970)
  • Everybody Loves Somebody
  • Island of Terror (1966)
  • Joe Versus the Volcano (1990)
  • The Marseille Trilogy Criterion Collection
  •  This Beautiful Fantastic
  • Incorporated Season 1
  • Tales from the Crypt Complete Series
  • Under the Dome Complete Series
  • Workaholics Season 7
  • Workaholics Complete Series

Comment below and let me know what you’re picking up this week.

Keep buying Blu-rays and I’ll see you next week.
