I am a true Potterhead, and I just love anything that has something to do with Harry Potter. When I saw these books I knew that I just had to have them. The Creature Vault and Magical Places From The Films are written by Jody Revenson and they give the reader more in-depth information about Rowling’s magical world.

Magical Places From The Films
This is the second book in the series, published in 2015. And it shows the various locations of the Harry Potter series, such as Diagon Alley, Hogwarts Castle, and The Burrow. In addition to the constructed sets, the book also covers some of the real-world locations used for scouting and filming the series.
I can’t even tell you happy I am to finally have some books out of this series. They are just so gorgeous, both inside and out! The texts are interesting to read, especially when you’ve always wondered how they managed to create certain things, like the Gryffindor and Slytherin common rooms or the ever so terrifying Dementors. They are alternated with the most beautiful pictures, paintings and sketches. They also contain little extra’s like a map of Diagon Alley and a poster containing all the creatures. They are great so-called coffee table books, mainly because it would be such a shame to hide them away in your bookcase.
I highly recommend these books if you are a huge Potter fan or you love to know more about the behind-the-scenes process of the locations. I can’t find any negative points, and therefore I rate them at a solid 5 out of 5 glasses!
