Hey everyone! Welcome back to another TGON Plays! This week we’re diving into the world of Crash Bandicoot: Warped. A PlayStation classic, this game debuted in 1998 and, because of its graphics, gameplay, audio effects, and story, has been named as one of the top 10 best games in PlayStation history. It even holds that record today! The story is fun, and basically goes like this: Uka-Uka, evil twin to Aku-Aku, has teamed up with Dr. Neo Cortex and his minions to wreak havoc in various times and places. Determined to stop them, Crash and his baby sister Coco follow them through the portals and take them down one by one.

Each portal contains five levels to beat, and once you’ve managed to conquer them, you face off against one of the big baddies. What makes this game so interesting is the constant flux in how the game is played. Fro a 3D level-based aspect, to platform style, to racing on a motorcycle, the variation in each level offers a refreshing change that will keep the player entertained for hours. The third in the series, Crash Bandicoot: Warped is available on PlayStation One, PlayStation 3, PSP, and Microsoft Windows. It’s been recently announced that Crash Bandicoots 1, 2, and 3 are going to be remastered for the PlayStation 4, so be on the lookout for these amazing throwbacks! I’m giving this game a solid 4 out of 5 glasses rating. Be sure to check out next week’s TGON Plays! Thanks for reading!
