Richard’s Big Head Problem
In the wake of Jack being fired, Richard has to pick up the pieces. Which means selling everything, because that “jackhole” hemorrhaged money because he thought the box was going to market, and they were going to get their money because it was truncated and you get three million…I don’t really understand it, but it meant that Richard gets to start acting like a CEO. He fires everyone except the fab four, who are tasked with selling their perfect office. Meanwhile, Richard is pissed about a tech reporter and is venting to Laurie. Laurie agrees to let him talk to her only if he talks to PR because “when you are emotional you become highly inarticulate.”

After trying to prove everyone wrong, he unloads on my queen, Cheryl Strayed the tech reporter.
Laurie Enables Her Apology Program Sequence

Gilfoyle, Dinesh, and Jared end up losing, and finding, Dinesh’s accidentally sold hard-drive. While Big Head and Erlich pound out the details of their incubator. Which leads to a story better than Richard’s Raviga rant.
The tech reporter agrees to run the story of Hooli scrubbing search results, and Gilfoyle destroys Dinesh’s hard-drive that has the IPs of Pied Piper (which they made sound important). All the loose ends are tied, and Jared, Gilfoyle and Dinesh, have even hired new engineers on the cheap. Richard is in command where he began Pied Piper, and he takes a seat in The Chair.
