Later this year, a new zombie movie will hit theaters. It’s named: Patient Zero. Here are all the reasons you should be excited:

1. The Story
The story is about a global pandemic of a super strain of rabies that has turned the majority of humankind into violent ‘infected’ people. One person, Morgan (Matt Smith), is asymptomatic and can communicate with the infected. He leads the last survivors on a hunt for Patient Zero and to find an antidote to save humanity, including his infected wife. A few people helping Morgan on his mission are CDC virologist Dr. Gina Rose (Natalie Dormer) and  Colonel Knox (Clive Standen).

2. Patient Zero?
One thing I don’t understand is that the last remaining uninfected people go and try to find the Patient Zero to stop the infection. But why aren’t they researching themselves? They are after all asymptomatic, and maybe they have everything to stop the infection? I hope this is mentioned and explained in the movie.

3. The Cast
Personally, I don’t know the actors playing in this movie very well. Based on their filmography I can tell that they are going  to be promising actors in this movie. Clive Standen is mostly known for his roles in Vikings, Camelot and Doctor Who. Matt Smith obvious known for his role as the Eleventh Doctor in Doctor Who and starring in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Natalie Dormer is best known for her role in The Tutors, Elementary and her current role in Game Of Thrones. Also, Stanley Tucci (Devil wears Prada, Hunger Games) will make an appearance, but right now it’s not known who he will play.

Keep checking The Game Of Nerds for more updates on Patient Zero and go see it in theaters on September 2, 2016!
