Put on your adult diapers everyone, because season 2 of Jane the Virgin looks like it may be even more stressful and dramatic that the first! I mean, what do you expect? It started off with a baby kidnapping.

Which luckily was resolved quickly thanks to the help of dear, sweet Michael and the fact that he cares more about Jane and Mateo than he cares about convicting the psychotic leader of a criminal plastic surgery ring. But honestly, I really do too, and I cannot imagine what would’ve happened if Rose kept Mateo from Jane and Rafael any longer. Now that Rose has her broach back, do we need to worry about her again? Or are our troubles with Sin Rosetro over? There seems to be a new villain coming who looks even creepier than Sin Rosetro! What do these people want with Jane? Can’t everyone just leave this new mother alone?? She’s so stressed out that she could barely get her milk to come in!

Let’s talk about poor Jane’s current stresses:

  1. Mateo was kidnapped like an hour after he was born. If my child was ever
kidnapped I would literally never let them out of my sight again. I
would probably handcuff them to me and never sleep. EVER. Just so I
could watch them. So I do not blame that poor girl for not getting any
    sleep.
  2. She just wants her baby to feed normally! Jane feels like she can’t do
ANYTHING right. She feels like her maternal instincts are off and the
fact that Mateo won’t feed properly is making her feel even worse. Good
thing Rafael figured out that Mateo was just cluster-feeding, which
meant Jane’s milk was about to come in! See Jane? You aren’t a failure!
Even your weird lactation expert didn’t suggest that! …The “stuff the
boob in the baby’s mouth like a hamburger” thing was hilarious, though.
  3. Jane is #cursed/#blessed with Rogelio-level fame. Everyone wants to know
all about Jane and her miraculous baby. This honestly seems a little
more like something The National Inquirer would cover—not the news—but
that’s just me. I was NOT expecting her to go out to the nuns and tell
them that she wasn’t a virgin, but that really solves her problem!
(Except for these creepy new villains who still seem to be after her).
  4. Jane is being courted by two hotties—both willing to bend over
backwards for her. Okay, maybe that’s not the biggest stress in the
world, but they’re both great guys, so I can see how trying to choose
one while maintaining a healthy relationship with the other/ not
breaking their heart could be stressful.

Ay dios mio, Petra. I feel for you girl, BUT WHAT DO YOU THINK IS GOING TO HAPPEN WHEN YOU RANDOMLY GET PREGNANT WITH RAFAEL’S BABY? HOW DO YOU, honestly, THINK HE’S GOING TO REACT? Speaking of Petra and train wreck human beings, LUISA. I GET YOU’RE TRYING TO HELP, BUT YOU JUST SOMEHOW MAKE EVERYTHING WORSE.

A few questions as we go into next week:

Jane and Michael definitely have a connection, but how could anyone resist Rafael holding Mateo shirtless??? Who should she choose? Who would YOU choose?

Do you think Xiomara and Rogelio will really get an annulment? Or do you think they will try to make it work?
