So last week I went rogue, totally solo to a local Toy Con. I figured why not? I went to a larger one solo might as well hit a local one by myself. I didn’t go in expecting much out of it, I was pleasantly surprised, I would recommend for anyone to go check out a local scene at least once. I’m sure you are wondering about the headline and the picture, we will get to that towards the end, with tons of toys available everywhere, I couldn’t resist the mystery bags of toys and I picked up 2 on my way out.
This con had a building of art, an area for food and activities, and a different building with all sorts of toys, comics, stars, props. Let’s review some of the awesome sights I didn’t expect to see…
I believe this is a Tardis? I honestly don’t know for sure I have never seen this show. But the rest of the staff at The Game of Nerds informs me that this indeed is a Tardis!

I was on a short time frame, I couldn’t partake in every aspect as I had prior plans, so I didn’t take any co-splay or get to take any time to try to meet the stars. But the list wasn’t bad for where we were at. I bought signed art, signed books, Christmas cards, Funko Pops along with one of these amazing ‘night lights’.

I won’t bore you with all the specialized niche things I bought that I collect, but I know you are all wondering, what did he find out of a $10(each) mystery bags at a toy con??
I got my value from it easily, if nothing else I have things to trade or for gifts.

Star Wars Episode 1 Nute Gunray, Call of Duty Zombie Horde, Mega Blocks set, Racing Champions 1996 Dodge Viper car. NICE!

Star Wars Episode 1 figures Battle Droid and Sio Bibble, Toy Story Big Baby, and Racing Champions 1950 Chevy 3100 pickup.
For ten dollars each you have no complaints out of me. After this trip I can say, “a boat is a boat, but a mystery bag could be anything, even lots of Star Wars toys!”
I can’t wait to hit the next one, you should too! Have you been to one lately? What were some of your experiences let me know in the comments.
