In an exciting development for entertainment enthusiasts worldwide, HallowScreamCon has officially secured an annual residency at the Las Vegas Convention Center, marking a revolutionary milestone in the fan convention landscape. Set to debut October 1-4, 2026, this groundbreaking mega-event promises to transform how fans experience their favorite entertainment genres.
Unlike traditional conventions, HallowScreamCon positions itself as a fully immersive “fanverse” – a multi-dimensional celebration that transcends the conventional boundaries of fan experiences. While strategically timed during the Halloween season, organizers emphasize this is not merely a Halloween convention but rather a comprehensive multi-genre fan experience encompassing film, television, gaming, anime, comics, music, fashion, beauty, stunts, live performance, tattoo culture, tiki aesthetics, theater, and beyond.
The announcement comes after three years of meticulous planning, with the Las Vegas Convention Center serving as the flagship venue. The organizers have revealed plans for additional satellite venues to be announced in coming months, part of an ambitious long-term strategy to eventually create a citywide takeover.
HallowScreamCon’s innovative concept has been described as “Comic-Con meets immersive theme park,” featuring theatrical zones, narrative quests, exclusive screenings, interactive horror experiences, and unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to beloved entertainment worlds. The convention’s architecture reflects a deep commitment to authentic fandom culture and storytelling.
Attendees will navigate through carefully curated immersive zones, each offering unique experiences. The Main Stage & Black Catwalk will host cosplay contests, live performances, and major celebrity appearances. Creative minds can showcase original horror, sci-fi, and fantasy intellectual property at ScreamLabs, while film enthusiasts can enjoy screenings of horror classics, cult gems, and premieres at The SINema.
Additional zones include the gothic-themed Meet & Greet Graveyard for celebrity encounters, GAME OVER for horror gaming and esports, and The Crossroads featuring tattoos, retro fashion, and lowbrow art. Special effects aficionados will appreciate the SFX & Beauty zone showcasing makeup artistry and live transformations, while anime and manga fans can immerse themselves in Otaku Obscura.
For those intrigued by the supernatural, the Paranormal Activity Zone offers ghost hunters, séances, and supernatural lore. Art enthusiasts will find their community in the Art & Animation Zone with comic artists, illustrators, and voice actors. Families can enjoy the whimsical PUNKINS Zone during daytime hours, while adult attendees seeking more intense experiences can explore Something Wicked, an after-dark area for mature content.
Perhaps most intriguing is The ShriekEasy, a hidden tiki-themed venue with its own cinematic backstory. Central to the convention’s narrative is Countess Shrieky Von Tiki, a fictional 1950s starlet cursed after consuming a forbidden cocktail called The Final Scream. Finding her will require participation in a nationwide treasure hunt launching this fall, where HallowScream Coins and cryptic riddles will be scattered across social media, fandom communities, and major cities. Successfully solving these puzzles will unlock exclusive content, prizes, and special access.
Signature events within the convention include the glamorous HallowScream Ball, a nostalgic Freaky Friday Fright Night paying homage to Halloween proms from the ’80s through 2000s, and The PUNKINS, a family-friendly daytime celebration.
Early bird tickets will become available on October 1, 2025—exactly one year before the convention opens. With a substantial waiting list already formed, organizers anticipate these initial tickets will sell out rapidly. Potential attendees are encouraged to register early and participate in the treasure hunt to secure exclusive early access rewards before general admission sales begin.
Behind this ambitious project stands Screen Masters International, a female-founded, independently led company working to redefine the fan convention industry. Kelly Warnell, the company’s CEO and one of the few women globally leading a production of this magnitude, emphasizes inclusivity and representation in her vision.
“We’re not here to separate, we’re here to elevate,” Warnell states. “HallowScreamCon was born out of a love for entertainment, fandom, Halloween, and spectacle—and it’s designed to welcome everyone into the experience. It’s also important to show that leadership in this space can look different. Vision, scale, and creativity know no gender.”
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority has expressed enthusiasm about hosting the event. John Schreiber, Vice President of business sales for the authority, noted that Las Vegas’s reputation as an entertainment hub makes it ideally suited for a convention dedicated to bringing imagination to life.
Beyond entertainment, HallowScreamCon has established a charitable partnership with Critical Care Comics, a Las Vegas-based nonprofit organization that delivers comic books to hospitalized children throughout the United States. Richard Tango, CEO and Chairman of Critical Care Comics, highlighted the potential for this collaboration to positively impact thousands of families annually.
As the convention’s tagline suggests—”Let the fanverse begin”—HallowScreamCon represents more than just another entertainment event. It offers a playground for enthusiasts of cult cinema, cosplay, gaming, collectibles, and nostalgia, inviting them to step into a more mischievous world, if only for a few days.
With its innovative approach, diverse offerings, and commitment to both entertainment and community impact, HallowScreamCon is positioned to redefine what fans can expect from convention experiences when it makes its highly anticipated debut in October 2026.
