This past fall, Hot Topic welcomed all Hazbin Hotel fans with their new line dedicated to the animated Prime Video series. It was such an exhilarating surprise to see a giant sticker of Charlie Morningstar plastered across the glass windows promoting the merch with her sign that says “Welcome to the Hot Topic Hotel!”. As a fan of the show myself, you better believe I came running in the moment I saw it, only to gape at all they had to offer. Ever since that October day, though, they’ve actually been adding to their collection – which is exciting activity given the impending release of season 2. So far, they’ve got something for everybody. Let’s take a look!
This oversized zip-up hoodie is one of the items I impulse bought immediately after trying it on. Now that it’s part of my sweater arsenal, I can honestly say that it is one of the coolest fandom hoodies I’ve ever purchased. While the enlarged designs of Charlie and Vaggie ready to battle the angels seen on the sleeves are captivating, the masterpiece of them in a blaze of glory printed on the back is what makes this piece really stand out. Not only do these designs scream out the love for these two characters in a stylish way, the jacket is also super soft and warm on the inside. It’s convenient to wear for all cozy situations!
If you’re more of a Huskerdust fan, Hot Topic has you covered with a T-Shirt themed after the song they sing together “Loser, Baby”. Whether you’re a fan of the ship, the song, or just the characters themselves, this shirt is an eye-catching way to celebrate all three.
There’s even a shirt for all you Sir Pentious and Cherri Bomb lovers out there offered at the store. With a design of them happily causing chaos together behind one of Cherri Bomb’s trademark explosions, the shirt is truly a display of the best that these two characters have to offer in the show together.
Calling all Lucifer fans! If you’re anything like me, then you are going to love the merch they have themed after the big boss of hell itself! There are three different types of shirts dedicated to him: a dark wash shirt with a portrait of him sitting mischievously on his throne, one with his iconic line ‘take that depression!’, and a ringer tee with the same quote wrapped around a rubber ducky that’s dressed like him. Along with that, they also just released a wallet with the same rubber ducky as well. All of which pay such great homage to the unique greatness of his character.
If you’re more on team Alastor though, Hot Topic’s got something for you as well with their two T-shirt options. Embrace his creepy overlord nature with the glow-in-the-dark T-Shirt of him in his raw radio demon form or wear out his sassier side with one that shows Alastor relaxing within the words of one of his iconic lines “That’s the Tea!”. In more ways than one, both options capture the interesting scope of his character that people love.
An addition that was made not long after my visit in early October were the earrings, necklace, and large hair claw designed after the hotel’s iconic key – also known as Charlie’s one-eyed cat KeeKee. If apparel isn’t your thing, these accessories are a more subtle option for you to express your love for the show. Or they can elevate the Hazbin clothing pieces you do choose to wear.
Something else added alongside the accessories were the plushies of all the beloved pets featured in the show – including Angel Dust’s pig Fat Nuggets, KeeKee in her cat form, as well as Razzle and Dazzle. Whether you want to pretend they’re your own pets or simply show these animals some love by keeping them in your room, these plushies are perfect for snuggling with this winter.
Just by looking at it, this white Welcome to Heaven Crop Top is already my favorite of the products they just added. With a smiling Emily embodying the purity that heaven is supposed to represent, the aesthetically pleasing font used for the quote, and the overall coloring of the shirt itself, this piece has soft girl written all over it. Potentially matching well with a variety of pants and skirts, this is definitely the shirt to get if you want to declare yourself a redeemed champion – preferably sent from Charlie’s hotel!

Finally, if you’re looking for something that captures the show as a whole, there is an amazing T-Shirt with a crimson theatrical design featuring all the characters and the logo. Similar to the battle jacket, I found the details in the character drawings here to be especially expressive, clean, and overall pleasing to the eye. It came as no surprise when an employee told me that this is one of their best selling items from the Hazbin line. Conveniently, their newest additions also include a backpack with the same design over it as well as a hoodie with all the characters jammed inside the words Hazbin Hotel. They even have a vinyl of the show’s soundtrack, with the sleeve being a more expansive version of the show’s general poster. All of which are perfect for those who want to express their love for the overall show.
While this list is a pretty wide scope of all they have to offer so far, there are still a few more items on their website for you to choose from. In fact, as of writing this very paragraph, I just saw that they added two new shirts that introduce Rosie and Nifty to the line! The anticipation is high to see what they’ll come up with for other characters like The Vs, Sera, Lute, St. Peter, and maybe even one of my personal favorites, Lilith. It seems pretty much guaranteed to see at this rate, especially considering the second season coming up – when the more mysterious characters are bound to get more attention. All of this is what makes Hot Topic another great place to get your Hazbin Hotel merch.
