Just as things on this show are starting to find its groove the season is at the end. Laurent, Daryl, Carol and Ash are all at the stadium prepping in different ways before trying to get the plane in the air. Daryl tells Laurent that if someone needs to stay behind it makes sense that it is him, he also promises that he will see Laurent again, even though Laurent tells him he can’t promise that. Elsewhere, Carol tells Ash that she plans to be the one left behind, these are some cool moments that show how both of them are willing to sacrifice for others.
Fallou, Codrone and someone else were out on a fetch mission, why I am not entirely sure but they ended up at an old hospital gathering supplies. Fallou and Codrone are inside and while the other person is outside with the horses. Inside are strapped up walkers to beds and a wheel chair, Fallou and Codrone split up and Fallou is caught by Jacinta and some of Genet’s old soldiers. Their friend kills some of the soldiers making the rest flee, Jacinta wants to see the prophecy fulfilled and Fallou wants to warn Daryl but says he doesn’t know where he is. Codrone says, well actually he does.
Jacinta tries another avenue and goes to the city to capture Anna to try to get some information. She wants the prophecy fulfilled blah blah blah. Anna wants to leave and go home, she decides she will help if she gets the plane and the pilot and Jacinta can take Laurent. Anna leads them to the stadium, but through the back so they won’t be seen. She knows they have to go through the underground parking garage, and she knows what is in there, but she is forced to take the lead. Jacinta gets bit, some soldiers die, along with Anna at the very end as Jacinta and her remaining soldiers lock Anna in with the approaching walkers. Jacinta and team retreat and get in their cars to go to the plane head on. While this is going on Fallou and Codrone reach Daryl and company and tell them what is happening so they hurry to get the plane air ready.
Daryl, Fallou and Codrone are on the ground fighting off the soldiers, after a standoff Jacinta had some soldiers with dirt bikes and a buggy that got behind them. Carol ends up abandoning the plane before taking off so she can take out the soldiers in the buggy so Ash and Laurent can head to the Commonwealth. Jacinta, seeing the play head off and knowing her mission has failed ends up committing suicide.
This episode feels like two entirely different episodes or shows after Laurent leaves, Fallou secures two guides to England, which are two Scots from the Demimonde. They are going to take them through a tunnel to England. Fallou decides to stay back with his new girlfriend, and the rest continue on. A little ways inside the tunnel they come across an old security checkpoint, inside the checkpoint they see gas masks and how everyone seemed to turn on each other. They press on further and are subjected to some sort of hallucination poison. Carol swears she sees Sophia before she turns into a walker, Codrone swears he sees his dead brother, people went proper nuts. Daryl gets stabbed by Codrone who rushes off looking for his brother. Daryl remembers seeing two unused gas masks so he goes back to the checkpoint and is whacked by the Scots. In Daryl’s hallucination he sees Isabelle(I miss her) urging him to not give up. He uses that to leg sweep and take down the Scots, killing them for the masks that he uses for himself and for Carol. The two continue down the creepy tunnel towards England as this season’s end.
