This episode was the best of season 2 so far, you can get excited if you would like to, but it just shares more to how meh the previous four episodes were than this episode being absolutely amazing.

I am happy with Codrone’s character change, it has been a bit slow moving but very believable, he shows up to Paris looking for safety with Fallou’s group. He made it out of the Nest and tells Fallou he doesn’t know where to go. Laurent tells everyone that Codrone saved him and others on the road, hearing this from Laurent makes everyone else up on Codrone, he tells Laurent he met up with an American looking for Daryl and Laurent asks if it was Carol, which he confirms.

Carol is getting nervous as she knows she has to confront all her lie’s very soon, she wants to talk to Ash by herself and not with Daryl, but Daryl insists he will be there. BUT, Ash is not back at the hanger with the plane, but two individuals are there, caught in a booby trap, one is a walker and one is close to death. They don’t know where Ash is, but said they were sent to find a plane. Ash is on the run from a line of walkers and ends up in a van at Genet’s old compound with a likely concussion.

Daryl and Carol make it back to Paris, Daryl has to tell Laurent that Isabelle is dead, Laurent is distraught and doesn’t want to go to America with Daryl. He doesn’t go out and say it but we all know it is because he thinks that anyone he loves ends up dying. Right after this Daryl and Carol head to the Demimonde(the Underground) to get some information to try to find Ash. Carol notices that some of Genet’s soldiers are there now, she also notices one of the cans for fuel was Ash’s. They then head to Genet’s former place looking for Ash. They find walkers around a van so they go to investigate, inside is Ash, Daryl ends up finding and using poison darts on two walkers that will make them super walkers that destroy all the others. They then dive into the van’s head first and Carol shoots one and Daryl stabs the other.

Back in Paris, Codrone is trying to find his way, Laurent has a chat with him about strawberries, that they have vitamin C and help stops scurvy which people don’t know you can get on land. Codrone says that Laurent helped him make better choices and he hopes that Laurent can forgive him for what he did. Laurent says he already did forgive him, and he hopes someday that Codrone can forgive himself. While this is going on Losang and his minions infiltrate. Codrone gets Laurent and tries to hide, scaling up some scaffolding. Fallou sees what Codrone is trying to do so he creates a diversion by holding someone hostage so Codrone and Laurent can escape. Losang is distracted after Fallou drops the knife and goes on about how the hungry ones are taking over the world and people are unsure if God is still here. And Laurent will be proof that God is around, and Fallou tells Losang that if he needs proof he already has lost his faith, as that is what faith is, to believe. This irritates Losang as he got verbally owned in front of everyone.

Daryl heads back to the Underground looking for Ethanol, and that is where he comes across Codrone and Laurent, Codrone tells Daryl what was happening and he didn’t know where to go. As they are packing up Losang and his minions break into the Underground as well. Codrone is ushered in a secret room, while Daryl, and Laurent are ushered upstairs with the boss to escape. Codrone, Daryl and Laurent meet up in the tunnels, they go opposite ways to even the odds, Daryl finds a hiding spot for Laurent. Daryl ends up fighting and killing Losang, while Codrone fights and thinks he beats Losang’s top fighter, but we learn at the very end she had a little more life in her.

Daryl and Laurent make it back to the plane, Ash and Carol had an awkward conversation where she came clean about her lies, and he is still upset when Daryl and Laurent arrives, he tells them that they have a problem because there is no way this plane will make it off the ground with all 4 of them and leaves it at that as the episode concludes.
