The new update is for both Liar’s Deck and and Liar’s Dice game modes. In Liar’s Deck, a new powerful card is now playable in the game: the Devil card. There is only one Devil card in play, and once it’s thrown and called by a player, there is a brutal consequence not only for the caller but also for everyone else. This time, everyone but the bluffer has to face the Russian Roulette. If you play the Devil card and someone calls you a liar, sit back and enjoy watching everyone probably die at once. Also, if you die, you can no longer see other players’ cards.

The feature is also applicable in the Liar’s Dice new Traditional mode. If you guess the exact number on a random dice and someone calls you out, it’s called Spot On, making everyone except you drink poison. The second addition to this mode is that dice number 1 is your Wild card, similar to the Joker card in Liar’ Deck, and can count as any number, forcing players to guess much higher numbers and resulting in a considerable raise in the game’s intensity.

Liar’s Bar now introduces an brand-new Table Stories option in the main menu, offering a fresh way to explore the characters’ background. If you click on it, depending on your selected character, the game demonstrates a comic-style story to that character. Each has their own exclusive tale, which could further be expanded in upcoming upgrades through adding more narrative dialogue-based stories.

A fun addition to this tabletop game is the Voice Chat. You can also set it to Push to Talk if you prefer to control over when you speak. The innovative mechanism of this system is that it also impacts the characters’ facial expression in the round; as when you speak, you can see your character’s lips move, featuring a unique way of interaction and adding a realistic touch.

Furthermore, the new Quick Join mechanic allows players to rapidly find a lobby of liars, who are waiting for someone to join, and jump into the game without patience.

There has been a ranking system in the game in the first place to show your exact level to your opponents. However, as the company already shared, the system is still bugged and yet to be fixed, and fans who are thirsty to demonstrate their bluffing ability to their rivals have to wait for the next upgrade.
