Behind the Scene is a phrase that refers to something taking place out of sight of audiences; derived from theatrical production practices.

Sports dramas may be plentiful, but Peter Berg’s show about a high school football team in Dillon, Texas was truly moving and authentic.

What fascinating sports shows can be created using cricket?

Originating in 17th-century England, cricket is an internationally popular bat-and-ball sport played all across former British colonies such as India, Pakistan and Australia – though most popular in a handful of nations only. But this may change soon in America where an array of factors is making cricket increasingly attractive among young people.

Greg Emmanuel from Boston is discovering cricket and connecting it to his Sri Lankan heritage through it. “I believe cricket will become increasingly important among younger people,” says Greg, adding “it can help connect back to our culture”.

But while cricket has experienced a resurgent following here in America, its total fan base remains smaller than baseball or other Olympic sports that will debut in 2028. That poses a problem for cricket: young fans and recreational athletes need to form its base; those people could help break cricket out from its stratified landscape and help break through its silos.

While cricket’s elite stars remain far beyond reach and comprehension, a less exclusive do-it-yourself movement is emerging to bridge that gap. Podcasts–one form of DIY democracy–are taking up this task with podcast “Jomboy”, featuring host Colin O’Brien discussing West Indies’ historic win over Australia with easy-to-understand explanations of terms such as inswinger and wobble seam. You can try betting cricket anytime and support your favorite team.

The Titan Games

NBC’s new competitive series puts everyday heroes through physical challenges that test strength and mental fortitude, hosted by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson from WWE/action film fame and produced by his A. Smith & Co Productions company.

This game consists of regional competitions in which women and men competitors from each gender compete against epic new and fan-favorite obstacles. Winners move on to Mount Olympus–an enormous structure designed to test every aspect of a competitor’s body and mind–for a final challenge.

Liam McHugh and Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez provide commentary from the tower, while Cari Champion interviews contestants on Titan Arena floor. But the most essential team on show are competitors; whether that means smashing concrete balls into each other, pulling themselves to safety across a rope high above ground, or smashing through concrete barriers; these athletes won’t hesitate to put themselves through hardship in pursuit of glory.

The Titan Games reinvents sport competition with an unconventional form that feels both unfamiliar and impressive at once. Real skills applied in unusual ways make up this compelling competition; yet in the end it all boils down to individual efforts making even one small difference in one person’s speed or pull weights.

Chan understood the significance of leading on such grand stages and utilized their Log Lift and Sky Bridge to secure his victory and become a Titan.

Those who defeat Pro Titan in Mount Olympus races will claim their region’s Titan title and return in future episodes’ regional finals to defend it from other Titans. Each region will produce male and female champions that will face each other off for supremacy.
