If you missed my review of Family Guy episodes ten through fifteen, you can find it here.

I am finally back. I am so sorry that I started and stopped Family Guy again. Life has been lifeing. In any case, the Griffins are just as crazy as they have always been. The show continues with their bad jokes and abuse of Meg, my son and I love to watch this together. Here’s what we watched this week.

Episode 16- The Bird Reich:

Stewie walks in on Brian writing his book and it turns out that Brian is about to publish his new book and is having a publishing party on Thursday and asks Stewie to attend. Bryan gives Stewie a signed copy of his book only to find it in the little free library. Brian and Stewie fight and Brian gives up writing.

On the other hand, Peter wants six weeks off from work since you can get bereavement leave for your pet dying, so he buys an eighty-year-old parrot. Turns out, his new bird was Adolf Hitler’s bird. Of course, this fact makes Peter like it more and Lois tells him to get rid of the bird.

This wasn’t my favorite episode. I was sort of bored through it.

Episode 17- The Bottle Episode:

We open to Lois announcing the Griffins are going to Nantucket and Lois is getting the nickname The Pelican for scooping up deals. The family does have a bunch of fun on their vacation and Stewie and Brian discover taffy. They decide to buy the store out of the taffy so they can bring it back to Quahog and sell it. Once home, Lois discovers that she is banned from AirBnB for theft. She took the shampoo bottle. Lois decides to bring it back to straighten things out and get the ban lifted which doesn’t happen. Lois finds out Dottie uses DoorDash and plots her revenge.

This episode wasn’t a lot of fun either. I mean, we all know Lois is unhinged, none of this surprised me.

Episode 18- Vat Man and Rob ‘Em:

We open to Peter being at a retirement party for the night watchman at the brewery and he steps into the role that opened up. First night on the job Principal Shepherd and a few other principals come to the brewery in search of beer now that the bars are closed. In a stroke of “genius,” Peter opens a bar in the brewery after hours that Quagmire, Cleveland, and Joe are going to help run. Because this is a good idea. I wasn’t even shocked when they ran out of beer.

On a walk, Brian comes across a flyer for a missing dog that kinda looks like him. There is a $1000 reward and Stewie and Brian think it should be an easy $1000 to make. Stewie becomes Bobby Beccorino from “Around the Way”. As soon as the door is closed, Brian is thrown into a kennel and locked in. He is supposed to be used and probably killed in the next viral TikTok video this weekend.

Ever used a German toilet plunger? They are interesting, to put it mildly. I love how fast Stewie’s legs go when he runs. Watch him as he runs on the beach.

Episode 19- From Russia with Love:

We open to Brian getting ready to go live on IG. The Griffins ignore him but he does it anyway only to be distracted when Chris and Stewie ask him if he wants to go on a car ride. Later, IG reached out to Brian and wanted to verify him because he is a “famous author” but instead of a blue check he has a green one and Stewie knew he got hacked. Brian made contact with the hacker and they want $10,000 to give back the account so Meg finds the hacker with her own hacking skills and they decide to go to Russia to get Brian’s account back. Why are they bringing Stewie along?

Quagmire wants to go on a double date with Lois and Peter. He’s reasonably sure she isn’t a sex worker this time. Unfortunately, she is Lois’s jr. high bully. When Lois was in jr. high she had bad acne, a back brace, and braces on her teeth along with frizzy hair and a lopsided chest. Stephanie, Quagmire’s date, is a doctor with no kids, great skin, and is well-traveled. After the date, Lois reverted to how she was in jr. high, probably the stress of seeing her bully again.

Episode 20- Adult Education:

Since Meg stayed behind with Ivan in Russia last episode, she is still there. If the song is any indication, she’s very happy. However, she does miss American cheeseburgers and gets put into the hospital for it. After Meg is out Ivan proposes to her, launching Meg over the moon.

Chris got his yearbook and he is in none of the pictures so Lois is insisting he get into some kind of extra-curricular activities. So far none are fitting him very well and even Peter won’t let him into his high school club. What the hell? While looking at Pornhub he finds out that his principal is making porn at school. This should be good. Yep, Chris is going to help Shepherd make better porn.

There you have it, the rest of season twenty-one. You know, every time I watch Family Guy, I either have my mouth agape or shake my head the entire time because of the shenanigans that go on. It’s great. Poor Meg though, she just gets crapped on all the time. I wonder where Joe and Bonnie’s child is. She was pregnant for ages and finally had the baby, but where did it go? Why does Lois stay with Peter? I mean it wouldn’t be much of a show if she left him but how are they still married?

Anyway, did you watch this season? What were your thoughts? What was your favorite episode? Let me know in the comments below. Until next time, have fun storming the castle!
