We open to Peter, Lois, and Stewie going to a fundraiser. Stewie gets to play hide-and-seek for the first time and is thrilled. Peter and Lois bid on and win a romantic getaway to Vermont.
Back at home, Peter and Lois say goodbye to Brian and the kids. After Stewie tells Brian about hide-and-seek, He can’t get enough of the game. Brian agrees to play with him. When Stewie hides in the fridge, Brian gives Stewie a spanking that is more of a pat.
Lois is wholly preoccupied with getting good Instagram photos. She wanted this Vermont vacay so she could get great pictures, so they take a glass-blowing class, and Peter puts a great picture up with a funny caption on it. Brian is tired of hide-and-seek, but Stewie convinces him to play one more game. Since Brian is looking at porn, he doesn’t notice when Stewie sneaks out of the door and into Quagmire’s suitcase. It is, without a doubt, the ultimate hiding spot.
Up in the air, Quagmire gets into his suitcase and finds Stewie. Once they land in Paris, Quagmire calls Peter. When Quagmire lets Peter and Lois know about Stewie, she is indifferent. Lois is on an Instagram “hot streak” and wants to beat Bonnie’s record. Quagmire is not happy that he has to babysit. The first night goes well. Back in Vermont, Lois finds the perfect tree for a picture, and when Peter takes the picture, she ends up falling off a cliff.
In Paris, Stewie and Quagmire are having fun and getting drunk. Stewie finds Madeline and takes off while Quahmire is passed out on the subway. Quagmire feels so awful and worried he willingly calls Brian for help.
