October is just over halfway over, Halloween is nearly here, and the leaves are changing colors. It may seem there isn’t much to look forward to, but fear not, there are still movies to be released—comedy, horror, adventure, biopics, thrillers, and superheroes. The end of October has it all. So let’s get into it, Nerds! Here is a list of movies to be released at the end of October.

Black Adam – October 21 – Superhero, Action/Adventure – PG13

Black Adam, a corrupted, ancient Egyptian predecessor of Captain Marvel, fought his way to modern times to challenge Captain Marvel and his Marvel Family associates. But he becomes a corrupted antihero attempting to clear his name.

Ticket to Paradise – October 21 – Romantic Comedy – PG13

A divorced couple travels together to Bali for their daughter’s wedding, trying not to repeat the same mistakes from years earlier.

Prey for the Devil – October 28 – Horror, Supernatural – PG13

A 25-year-old nun named Sister Ann performs exorcisms and wards off demons while combating a sexist church that believes only priests should be allowed to perform exorcisms.

Till – October 28 – Drama – PG13

After patients start to die mysteriously, Charlie becomes the prime suspect. To uncover the truth, Amy puts her life in danger to get to the truth.

The School for Good and Evil – October 21 – PG13

Boys and Girls are kidnapped and sent to The School for Good and Evil. At the school, they are trained to be heroes, villains, princesses, and witches. Sophie and Agatha are best friends who are both taken to the school and find themselves questioning their placements.

All Quiet on the Western Front – October 28 – War Drama – R

In 1918, friends Paul, Albert, and Mueller enlist in the German army. The horrors of war quickly dash their romantic notions of patriotism and heroism.

Beyond the Neon – October 18th – Thriller, Crime 

Based on true accounts. A social experiment goes wrong when a Youtuber uncovers a sex trafficking ring. 

The Loneliest Boy in the World – October 18th – Horror Comedy – R

Oliver, a sheltered and unsocialized teen, sets out to make new friends after his mother suddenly dies. He decides that digging a few up is his best option.

Raymond and Ray – October 21 – Comedy, Drama – R
