Oh, my Goddess! I love Bruce Campbell. He has acted in some amazing and memorable roles. Being Ash in the Evil Dead series is probably his most well-known character. Truth be told, that was my first experience with him. He just has the perfect amount of sarcasm for any situation.

Bruce has one hundred sixty-five acting credits to his name. I am going to talk about some of my favorites, but you can find a complete list on IMDB. Recently he did some voice acting for Evil Dead: The Game and has a TV movie coming out called Adopted. Mr. Campbell is synonymous with Evil Dead. It doesn’t matter the platform. It has been movies, a TV show, and now video games. I know that my husband is going to want (and will probably buy) the new video game.

In the link to Evil Dead: The Game, you get to watch Andy Campbell and his father Bruce play the game. Rather, Andy plays the game, and Bruce chimes in. It is fun to watch. The YouTube video I posted below is more gameplay to watch. I love what the gameplay looks like, and Ash is part of the game, which rocks. This isn’t the only Evil Dead game. Bruce has been a part of all of them. There is Evil Dead: Hail to the King, Evil Dead: A Fistful of Boomstick, Evil Dead: Regeneration, and more. He has also done Spider-Man (the video game), where he is a tour guide, as well as other Spider-Man games (plus, I think, all the Toby Maguire Spider-Man movies), Broken Helix, and Pitfall 3-D: Beyond the Jungle, among others. They credit him on IMDB.
My favorite things that Bruce Campbell has done are, of course, Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, and Army of Darkness. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Ash Vs The Evil Dead. I also love Burn Notice and The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. I think, though, Bubba Ho-Tep is my favorite of all time. He plays Elvis Presley, who traded lives with a man named Sebastian Haff. It was Sebastian Haff that died as Elvis, and now Elvis is in a nursing home and can’t get his old life back. In the nursing home, he and Jack must defeat the Egyptian mummy Bubba Ho-tep because he is sucking the life out of patients through their assholes. It’s great if you love B movies. I loved Bruce in Xena: Princess Warrior and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys as Autolycus. He is just so funny. He fits in and looks out of place at the same time. It’s wonderful. He also was in Sky High as Coach Boomer. He made me laugh at that.

Mr. Campbell seems to love B movie quality stuff. I think it’s great. Then again, I love B movies too. I watch sci-fi movies all the time, especially by Asylum. I think Bruce Campbell and Asylum would make an incredible team. Bruce has an official site, and of course, I am linking that for you here.
Bruce Campbell is my hero. From what I know, he is a nice guy. I would love to meet him. What do you think of Mr. Campbell? Have you watched anything with him in it? My husband (who is also a huge fan) and I have made sure our kids know who he is. My son loves the Evil Dead series. Are you going to play the Evil Dead game? Let me know in the comments below. Until next time, have fun storming the castle!
