A classic Batman story is coming to life this June, when Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One is released. The famous graphic novel was written by Jeff Loeb and drawn by Tim Sale is getting a DC Animated film, directed by Chris Palmer (Superman: Man of Tomorrow).

The story follows our caped crusader in the early days of his career, following an intertwining plot that spans the course of 13 months in Gotham City. Villains with off-the-wall gimmicks are on the rise and traditional organized crime is declining. Harvey Dent’s transformation into Two-Face is a key part of this story as well as Batman’s hunt for a mysterious serial killer.
