The episodes of this show aren’t bad, however, they are not the most action-packed. I wish in a way they would put this on before Fear the Walking Dead as I’m more inclined to fall asleep so late watching the show with the pacing, so I am looping in two episodes in one. We pick up the next morning with Hope sending a message to the others telling them to get ready she is almost at the siren. At this point, there is no going back so they are going to go to the office that is close to the siren. Silas doesn’t want to kill walkers so he offers to take all the bags instead, he has some messed up flashbacks in his head and gets all turned around.
Hope makes it to the warehouse, of course, nothing works right, at the office Felix and Huck catch up with the others, back at the warehouse the crank to the siren broke off so Hope has to try to put it back together. Silas has some flashbacks of what he did before, he is afraid of himself. Hope rings the alarm and everyone is making it out, Iris kills a walker to save Hope, and then vice versa. Silas is having a tough time with everything, but snaps out of it and holds a big wall of tires up to save everyone, even when Elton goes back to get his backpack, the tires fall and pins all sorts of walkers in the BOG.

In what I presume is the next morning Felix wants everyone to go home and the best way to do it is to go to Omaha to resupply and then transfer back to the University in two weeks. The kids don’t want to go back at all, Hope and Iris have a talk, Hope tells her what happened when their mom died. It was the first time Hope told anyone, it was pretty sad, next will be Elton at some point. Huck and Felix have decided to join everyone to go to New York but they really want to try to get them to change their minds down the line. Elton tells Hope that he went back past the tires to get his mom’s manuscript that she didn’t finish.

The CRM has a little scene at the end, we learn that they have energy, transport, water, medicine, council, ports, schools, currency, economy, law, and over 200,000 people. The CRM thinks that the University could be a threat which is why they killed them all. The soldier doesn’t believe the University was going to be a threat. The soldier is sent away to reform until he is ready to serve again but he says he will never be ready to serve again, he knows what they did and want to know if she does, when she is alone looking at maps we see a tear fall on the map.
In the next episode Huck and Felix really crank up their plan to get everyone to head back, they believe that Elton is the wedge to get people to turn back. Luckily they all took a wrong turn which led them to an abandoned school. Sadly, this episode didn’t have a lot to really report until after the credits and the sneak preview is over, I missed it the first watch through.

Huck and Felix try to start their plan to get people to turn back, Huck is with Hope and Felix is with Elton, Iris, and Silas go off together. Huck and Hope come across a wolf but it was just protecting it’s young and won’t attack. Silas and Iris get stuck in the gym, but they don’t seem to hate it, Hope and Huck find some food and start stocking up, Felix and Elton find Silas and Iris stuck in the gym and are told to go through the back, a little while later a wolf is heard in the air duct and so Iris and Silas decide to leave the gym past the walker. In the boiler room, walkers are coming out of lockers at them but the door is locked, luckily Hope and Huck are on the other side and working on the chain. Silas has a snap and goes and starts knocking a walkers face in like crazy, and we see a flashback of what he did before, which is we think killed his dad. Elton tries to snap Silas out of it and Silas hits Elton away, Silas finally comes too when Felix yells at him to stop.
In this episode, all the fireworks happen after the credits and next week’s preview. Someone is recording some info. “Test Subject A402” while flashing a picture with Hope and Iris’s dad along with a few other people in the picture. We hear, “no detectable responses to psychological stimuli. Running multiple tests Dr. Samuel Avit Portland Oregon.” This place has a lot of walkers all restrained and numbered, they are obviously taking all sorts of tests. We end hearing the words, “Test Subject A403” but not shown.
