Shockingly, its Tuesday again. I don’t remember what I said I was going to pick this week but I’m picking Queen & Slim. I almost picked Playmobil: The Movie because I’m on a Danny Radcliffe kick but by all accounts, Playmobil is a bad movie and Queen & Slim looked pretty good to me.

Slim and Queen’s first date takes an unexpected turn when a policeman pulls them over for a minor traffic violation. When the situation escalates, Slim takes the officer’s gun and shoots him in self-defense. Now labeled cop killers in the media, Slim and Queen feel that they have no choice but to go on the run and evade the law. When a video of the incident goes viral, the unwitting outlaws soon become a symbol of trauma, terror, grief, and pain for people all across the country. – Universal Pictures
I haven’t seen this one so I can’t say much other than that it looked good and critics seemed to have like it. Also, I want to point out the art on the blu-ray is pretty sweet for a regular non-special edition blu-ray.
