Artist Alley At Emerald City Comic Con 2019

Probably my favorite part of ECCC is Artist Alley. I love looking and the pictures they create and the creative ideas that they bring. Part of it is just the beauty of it and some of it is the desire to do what they do.

There were so many great artist that it was hard to chose the best from all the artwork. Through a sea of color and paper and various materials I waded just for you. I think I managed to find my top three favorites though.

Mark Monlux is a super cool guy with some fantastic and witty art. He even made a Horror Bingo which is so much fun! He critiques movies in a comic strip. Too cool! He even does movie posters. He is local to me up here in the Pacific Northwest. You can find him at here or on Instagram.

Gavin Gray Valentine has beautiful art. Just some gorgeous stuff. It has to do with all kinds of Fae. I am a gal that’s completely in love with the Fae. It would be phenominal to buy some of his stuff. He also has books about the Fae, witches and vampires and some very cool coloring books. You can find him at here or on Instagram.

Adelso Corona brings to life heroes and villains like Spider-man and Venom, the X-Men and the Thundercats. He is featured prominently on Deviant Art. It was exciting to see his work at ECCC. It’s just so amazing. You can find him on DeviantArt or on Instagram .

I am a wife, mother, writer and nerd. My dad cultivated my love of sci-fi as a child and I haven’t looked back since. I love myth and magic. I am an avid reader and love TV and movies. I love the movies Willow and Legend and the Star Trek ones both old and new. Laurell K. Hamilton, who writes the Anita Blake and Merry Gentry series, and Jim Butcher, who writes the Harry Dresden series, are probably my top two favorite authors. I love learning and writing about mythology and there is so much out there to learn, see and imagine. Come fly away with me.
