The Game of Nerds team is gear up to take over Emerald City Comic Con next week. We will be bringing our famous Poppin’ Hopper Cosplay done the amazing Andy Parola of TheVIParolaz. Make sure you find us, say hi, and get your picture with our lifesize Funko Cosplay. If you are looking to head out to ECCC to join us, I suggest picking up tickets now. They are down to single days and last time we checked Friday and Sunday were all that was left. There are a wide variety of actors who will be showing up like the following:
- Boy Meets World Cast: Ben Savage, Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong, Will Friedle, and William Daniels
- Various Voice Actors like Christopher Sabat, Colleen Clinkenbeard, James Arnold Taylor, and Vanessa Marshall,
- 12th Doctor from Doctor Who, Peter Capaldi will replace Matt Smith’s
- Star Wars and Game of Thrones Star, Gwendolyn Christie
- Harry Potter fans will be excited to know Rupert Grint and Jason Isaacs will be there as well.
- Stranger Things Cast: Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, and Sadie Sink
- The Vampire Diares and Smallville Actor, Ian Somerhalder
- Oh My! Star Trek Star George Takei will be in attendance.
- Get your Beets, Bears, and Dwightism Ready! Rainn Wilson from The Office will be there!
- Wynonna Earp Fans are excited to have Dominique Provost-Chalkley, and Katherine Barrell,
- Critical Role Cast: Brian W. Foster, Laura Bailey, Liam O’Brien, Marisha Ray, Matthew Mercer, Sam Riegel, Taliesin Jaffe, and Travis Willingham.
There will also be a variety of comic book artists and literary writers that will be there for everyone’s enjoyment. There will be plenty to do among the massive ECCC floor at The Washington State Convention Center. It’s in your best interest to start planning your panels, photo ops, autographs, and parties now. There were some booths and parties that required you to sign up in advance. Funko was one of those booths and parties. So if you didn’t get chosen in their lottery for a specific time then you will be able to get anything left over at 3pm each day. Their HQ party is also sold out and all people who registered were notified on Monday if they were accepted or not. Otherwise all panel and convention activities can be found on the ECCC website. We hope that we get to see you all there!
