Oscars 2019: Our Picks

It’s that time of year again! Time for me to take a swing at this year’s Oscar contenders! Based on how the Golden Globes went this year, and the number of surprising nominations (and snubs), I’m going to try and go outside my normal movie logic for this year’s picks.

Another tough category. I’m definetely partial to The Favourite‘s Olivia Coleman, but I think Glenn Close will win this one.

I’m gonna go with the Golden Globe winner for this one! She definitely deserves the gold for this role!

As much as I would love to see Spike Lee win this award, I would be shocked to see Alfonso Cuarón lose it this year with his spectacular film Roma.

The Golden Globes surprised everyone by giving the big win to Bohemian Rhapsody, but I’m thinking Roma is going to walk away with the real prize.
