Episode 7 ramped up to be one of the craziest episodes of the entire season, but it was the re-connecting of Fiona and the rest of the Gallagher siblings that really solidified season 9 as one of the greatest seasons yet!
Debbie finds Fiona laying on the bathroom floor in her apartment, still bloody from the car accident. She takes Fiona to the hospital to get stitches for a cut on her face and she has a broken wrist. Finally, after a lot of prying, Fiona confides in Debbie about Ford being married, her investment going belly up and the fact that she may have to sell her apartment building. Later, Max shows up and offers to buy her building, but it means Fiona will have nothing left. She gets drunk and decides to throw herself a “moving back in with the family” party. Debbie comes home and takes Fiona out to the street where she and her friends have put Ford into a makeshift stockade with his pants down and she lets Fiona shoot him in the butt with a paintball gun.
After Debbie locates Fiona and realizes she’s not ok, she gathers two of her friends from work and plots her revenge on Ford. They build a stockade and paint it to say, “This man is an asshole!” Then they kidnap Ford lock him in with his pants pulled down so that everyone can see. Debbie is finally old enough to look out for Fiona!
Lip has a new woman in his life and her name is Tammy! After running into the drunk bridesmaid he hooked up with at Brad’s wedding, Lip spends time with her and they have sex again. Only this time, things seem to heat up for both parties and they spend hours having sex in her extremely small car.
Carl spends the day studying for his West Point exams with the help of Liam and his girlfriend. After miserably failing the practice exam, his girlfriend devises with a plan to use his hardships as a child to appeal to the admissions people so he doesn’t have to pass the test.
Frank’s still in love with his mentally unstable girlfriend Ingrid, but when her ex-husband keeps showing up, Frank has had enough. He wants the ex-husband out of the way and will do anything to make him leave. Frank convinces Ingrid’s ex to leave and take the trip he’s always wanted to go on.
Kev’s upset when Vee starts getting rid of their daughters baby clothes and toys. He tells her they might want to save their daughters things in case they decide to have more kids, but she tells him she’ll never want to have more kids. In the end, she explains to him that while she may never want to physically have more children, she’s open to adoption.
