The 10th Anniversary of Star Wars: The Clone Wars was celebrated at a panel last weekend at San Diego Comic-Con with exciting news as a present to loyal fans. Disney has a new streaming service that will now feature a 12 episode ending to conclude the animated series; yes, the long wait is over. After it ended with no conclusion, fans were left devastated without even an answer to what happened to Ahsoka Tano. Looks like we’ll finally find out!

The panel had everything from the first trailer of Star Wars: The Clone Wars to original sketches and concept art that was used for the show. Supervising director Dave Filoni reminisced with fans about the production process and how exciting it is to finally have this series get a proper wrap up after such an outcry of support from fans.

This panel was amazing simply because of the kind of support it got. When the show abruptly ended, no one, not even Filoni, knew that there would ever be a continuation with a proper conclusion. This new announcement has fans of the Star Wars series excited for a revived series that everyone loves, so be sure to keep an eye out for it!

The series is said to make a comeback on Disney’s streaming service in 2019.
