After the death of his father, T’Challa returns home to the African nation of Wakanda to take his rightful place as king. When a powerful enemy suddenly reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king — and as Black Panther — gets tested when he’s drawn into a conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people. – Marvel Studios
Black Panther is a Marvel movie, so of course I love it, I’m not biased MCU movies are just good. This movie totally deserves the love though, even if you were to overlook the fact that this is movie full of first for African Americans and women overall, it’s a wonderfully acted, directed and written film. Black Panther does follow the generic Marvel origin film but more like Spider-man than Iron Man, which is a plus. There is enough originality to keep you enthralled. This is one Marvel where the supporting cast and villain overshadow the main character and it’s not like Chadwick Boseman is bad it’s just that everyone else is that good. Black Panther has the best villain in a Marvel movie, excluding Thanos. If you’re a Marvel fan buying this should be a no brainer.
