The CW has released a synopsis, preview images, and a promo for “Guest Starring John Noble”, the seventeenth episode of season three, which airs on April 2nd, 2018.

Gorilla Grodd is back! After the big announcement awhile back that Grodd would be appearing throughout Season 3, it’s a big disappoint that we’ve really only seen him once. Thankfully, he seems to be a big threat this episode as he sets his sights on Barack Obama.  Other things to worry about? Amaya making some rash decisions, and an uneasy alliance with foe. Also, I have zero idea how John Noble playing John Noble will play into the proceedings–I guess that’s exciting?

The synopsis of the episode from CW is shown below, and you can find the new images at the bottom of the page.

SEEING DOUBLE — With the timeline barely stable, the Legends must tackle two anachronisms at the same time to try and keep Mallus at bay. Sara (Caity Lotz) and Rip (guest star Arthur Darvill) team up to stop Grodd (guest star David Sobolov) from going after a particular target leaving Nate (Nick Zano) and Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) to stop Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) from changing her future. Meanwhile, the Legends think they have found a way to destroy Mallus, but they will have to create an uneasy alliance with one of their enemies. Brandon Routh, Dominic Purcell and Tala Ashe also star. Ralph Hemecker directed the episode written by Keto Shimizu & James Eagan (#317). Original airdate 4/2/2018.

You can catch new episodes of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow when they air on The CW network every Monday at 8pm EST
