Golly, February is flying by. Today is the last Tuesday of the month, which means new releases and that it’s almost March. These week’s pick is Murder on the Orient Express which is a decent flick but I am way more excited for March, so many exciting releases are coming, so stay tuned.

What starts out as a lavish train ride through Europe quickly unfolds into one of the most stylish, suspenseful and thrilling mysteries ever told. From the novel by best-selling author Agatha Christie, “Murder on the Orient Express” tells the tale of thirteen strangers stranded on a train, where everyone’s a suspect. One man must race against time to solve the puzzle before the murderer strikes again. Kenneth Branagh directs and leads an all-star cast including Penélope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley and Josh Gad. – 20th Century Fox

Who doesn’t like a good whodunit? I know I do, Murder on the Orient Express delivers. Kenneth Branagh directs and stars in the film as Detective Hercules Poirot. The character of Poirot is super intelligent, eccentric and mustached, Branagh thrives in the role. The film itself looks very sleek and stylish. All around Branagh crushed it. I’d assume if you had read the book or seen one of the many adaptations of it, the plot itself wouldn’t surprise you but the star-studded cast is likely to keep your attention. Bonus points to Murder on the Orient for making me not hate Johnny Depp for the run time of the film. I am not the biggest fan of Johnny Depp but he isn’t half bad in this movie.
