Have you seen it yet? Tryangle films just released the final trailer for Voldemort: Origins of the Heir and I honestly can’t wait to see it! A few months ago I also wrote about this fan-made prequel to the Harry Potter series, go read it here.

Since that article, many more was announced about this Youtube movie, including the release of the final trailer. Here is a quick update:

How much of the cast was known back then, I wouldn’t know anymore but we pretty much now know the full cast:
Stefano Rossi as Tom Marvolo Riddle (Slytherin)
Davide Ellena as Lord Voldemort (Slytherin)
Maddalena Orcali as Grisha McLaggen, with Aurora Moroni as Grisha McLaggen Jr. (Gryffindor)
Andrea Deanisi as Wiglaf Sigurdsson, with Andrea Baglio as Wiglaf Sigurdsson Jr. (Ravenclaw)
Gelsomina Bassetti as Hepzibah Smith (Hufflepuff)
Andrea Bonfanti as Lazarus Smith (Hufflepuff)
Alessio Dalla Costa as Makarov

Out of these characters, we only know a three and what this movie will have in store for them. Tom Marvolo Riddle, we all know as Lord Voldemort, Grisha McLaggen will be the one hunting Tom Riddle down for the murder of Hepzibah Smith. Wheather or not he has actually committed the crime is still a mystery.

We also finally have a release date! It will be released on January 13th, 2018. It is slightly later than the previously announced December 2017, but still close enough. The date was announced in the new trailer, where we got our first glimpse of the amazing special effects they have used. The spells look really realistic! Compared to the previous trailer, this one doesn’t show much about the story. It shows us more the duelling that is going on with Tom Riddle and many other, currently unknown, characters.

Make sure to be ready on January 13th, 2018!
