Hey it’s Tuesday. Alien: Covenant is the pick of the week. It has been awhile since we’ve had options. This week Best Buy is offering a steelbook and Target is offering a digibook with the Blu-ray.

Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, members (Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup) of the colony ship Covenant discover what they think to be an uncharted paradise. While there, they meet David (Michael Fassbender), the synthetic survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition. The mysterious world soon turns dark and dangerous when a hostile alien life-form forces the crew into a deadly fight for survival. – 20th Century Fox
Prometheus was a visually stunning film but it answered little questions about the Alien franchise and made more questions. I am more of an Aliens guy myself but I enjoyed both Alien and Prometheus. Alien: Covenant is a hodgepodge of the two. Covenant answered some lingering question from Prometheus and then made just as many questions.
Danny McBride is excellent in the movie, it is a breath of fresh air seeing him in a dramatic role. Plus double Fassbender, who wouldn’t want that?
