Hey happy free slurpee day and new Blu-ray day.
This is a much better week than last week. The pick for the week is The Fate of the Furious but there are two special acknowledgements. This week brings us a bevy of different editions. Best Buy is giving you the usual steelbook, Target is giving you a “collectible cinch bag” with the Blu-ray and some exclusive content and Walmart is going above and beyond and giving you an additional 30 minutes of content.

With Dom and Letty married, Brian and Mia retired and the rest of the crew exonerated, the globe-trotting team has found some semblance of a normal life. They soon face an unexpected challenge when a mysterious woman named Cipher forces Dom to betray them all. Now, they must unite to bring home the man who made them a family and stop Cipher from unleashing chaos. – Universal Pictures
The Fast and Furious movies aren’t spectacular movies when it comes to story elements and character development but oh man are they fun. I’ve always enjoyed the films but since Fast Five they’ve been getting more wild and outrageous and it is the greatest thing in the world. You don’t see these movies to learn anything emotional or intellectual. You see these movies to watch mostly muscular men and pretty women do insane crazy stunts with cars and drink coronas and talk about being family. This movie was a blast and is certainly a must have for Blu-ray collectors.
Included with the Blu-rays you will find:
- Blu-ray disc
- DVD
- Digital HD
- Extended Edition
- Special Features
- All About the Stunts
- Extended Fight Scenes
- Feature Commentary with Director F. Gary Gray
- Exclusive Bonus Content (Walmart and Target editions)
- Cinch Bag Target
In an unprecedented event I am picking two different editions. The Target and the Best Buy editions. By now you must know I love steelbooks but I also love cinch bags and exclusive content.
You can find the Best Buy one here, the Target one here, the Walmart one here and the regular one here.
My wallet couldn’t handle spending anymore but I will likely pick these two up eventually.
