For those who’ve watched Suicide Squad, more specifically the post-credits scene and the teases Batman V Superman gave with an encrypted file Bruce Wayne stole from Lex Luthor’s servers, you’ve already known that the Justice League is in the making. And I’m here to tell you all about it!
1. The Story
Since this is the first instalment of the Justice League, we’ll see the team forming, as Bruce Wayne seeks to recruit more metahumans to defend our planet in the wake of Superman’s “death” in Dawn of Justice. Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit their team to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, The Flash and eventually a resurrected Kal-El — it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
But no worries for the Superman fans! Henry Cavill has been seen on the Justice League set, and he even teased his costume, so we know he’ll be featured in the film, though how Superman will be brought back to life is still a mystery. Someone who we won’t see in the first instalment is the Green Lantern. He will be recruited in a later film. Just like Martian Manhunter.

2. The Villain
No matter how important a hero is, there is always a need for a villain. In the Justice League movie, it is confirmed to be Darkseid’s top general, Steppenwolf. He’ll invade Earth to battle the team and possibly find three Mother Boxes that have been protected by the Atlanteans and the Amazonians for centuries. It’s expected that Steppenwolf and his Parademons will eventually pave the way for Darkseid. But more villains are rumoured to make their way to the big screen, for example, Deathstroke.

3. The Cast
The cast consists out of the following actors/actresses, with Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot replaying their roles as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Clark Kent/Superman and Diana Prince/Wonder Woman. Next to them we have Ray Fisher as Victor Stone a.k.a Cyborg and Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/Flash. Although I personally would’ve loved to see Grant Gustin play the speedster on the big screen. Since the tv series The Flash, it is weird to picture someone else playing The Flash. We have Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry / Aquaman and the villain Steppenwolf will be played by Ciarán Hinds.
Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons and Jesse Eisenberg will reprise their roles as Lois Lane, Martha Kent, Alfred Pennyworth and Lex Luthor, while J. K. Simmons, Willem Dafoe, Amber Heard and Kiersey Clemons portray James Gordon, Nuidis Vulko, Mera and Iris West.
A member of the Green Lantern Corps will appear in a key sequence; while Darkseid, Steppenwolf’s ruler, will appear in a flashback sequence in which ancient Amazonians, Atlanteans, and pre-historic humans fight him and force him off of Earth.

Like most highly anticipated movies, they like to keep the details as secret as possible. Therefore we have to do it with what we know so far! Justice League is scheduled to be released on November 17, 2017!
