It’s 2023, and Emerald City Comic Con returns in March, its historically traditional time of year. While we enjoyed having the convention in the summer of 2023, fans are excited to attend the con while the air is crisp and chilly (although some cosplayers may need to bring a jacket while running out for a lunch run!). Get pumped, nerds! It’s time to dust off your craft foam armor, iron those capes, and don the wigs and wefts you’ve kept immaculate.
E.C.C.C. has announced its 2023 entertainment talent lineup, and the big names keep racking up. In preparation for your convention experience, we’ve got the top 10 talent names announced so far.
Stephen Amell
The biggest star of the C.W.’s hit show Arrow graces the Main Stage this year. And he’s not alone; keep reading for a peek into the castmates who will share the stage with him! Stephen will be a member of the Arrow Cast Reunion on Saturday, March 4th, at 4:15 pm.
Emily Bett Rickards
Beloved co-star Emily Bett Rickards will also be featured during the Arrow Cast Reunion on March 4th. Make sure you come to meet Felicity Smoak herself during your con experience!
Colton Haynes
Colton Haynes may have been a sidekick on screen, but he’s a big name on the stage for the Arrow Cast Reunion on March 4th. Fans of Teen Wolf will also be excited for a chance to meet this teen heartthrob.
David Tennant
Most notably known for his role as the 10th Doctor in Doctor Who, David Tennant will make an E.C.C.C. appearance once again this year. It’s no surprise since Tennant has attended the show for photo ops and autographs for years now. He will be on stage for The Doctor Is In: A Conversation with David Tennant on the Main Stage on Friday, March 3rd, at 11:15 am.
Mark Ruffalo
Get ready to meet Bruce Banner himself! The Avengers star will be featured in the Mean and Green: The Mark Ruffalo Spotlight on the Main Stage on Sunday, March 5th, at 11 am.
Dee-Bradley Baker
How many voices can you use to cheer for this incredibly talented V.A.? Baker will attend E.C.C.C. representing Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and American Dad. Panels for Baker have not been announced, but make sure to get a photo-op an autograph and show off your best Star Wars clone cosplay!
Katee Sackoff
Another Star Wars favorite you won’t want to miss! Sackoff is also known for her popular role in Battlestar Galactica and will make another appearance at E.C.C.C. this year. Unfortunately, no panels featuring Sackoff have been announced, but you’ll definitely want to stop by her table!
Mara Wilson
A millennial kid’s dream! The Matilda and Mrs. Doubtfire child star is taking the Main Stage this year for her very own Spotlight. You can come to listen to Wilson as she discusses her life as an actor and author on Friday, March 3rd, at 2 pm.
Rhys Darby
Darby is known for both onscreen and voice talent roles, but fans are currently interested in his part as Steded Bonnet in Our Flag Means Death. Taking to the Main Stage, Darby will be featured in the As A Crew: The Cast of Our Flag Means Death panel on Saturday, March 4th, at 11:15 am.
Simon Kassianides
Fans of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and The Mandalorian will be overjoyed for the chance to see Kassianides featured in the This Is The Way: The Mandalorian Cast Panel along with co-stars Katee Sackoff and Mercedes Varnado. The panel takes place on the Main Stage on Sunday, March 5th, at 12:30 pm.
