Indiana Jones is returning for a fifth and final adventure on June 30, 2023! In this installment, our favorite archeologist finds himself close to retirement and in a new era with a familiar foe—Nazis.
The newly released trailer promises action, a little nostalgia, and of course, humor. Personally, my heart skipped a beat when Indiana picked up his iconic hat and familiar whip. See for yourself!
The plot has mostly been kept under wraps. But here’s what we do know:
Set in 1969, during the space race, The U.S Government recruited former Nazis to help them beat the Russians to the moon. But exactly how “former” are these Nazis? Indiana Jones is about to find out. Accompanied by his goddaughter, Helena, this might very well be Indiana’s biggest adventure yet!
Harrison Ford, of course, returns to play our favorite adventurer.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Solo: A Star Wars Story, No Time to Die) plays Helena, Indiana’s goddaughter.
More familiar faces you can expect to see include Antonio Banderas (The 13th Warrior), John Rhys-Davies (who also appeared in Raiders of the Lost Ark), Shaunette Renee Wilson (Black Panther), Thomas Kretschmann (Das Boot), Toby Jones (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom), Boyd Holbrook (Vengeance), Olivier Richters (Black Widow), Ethann Isidore (Mortal, Sam), and Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal).
Steven Spielberg passed his directing reins to James Mangold, but he remains an executive producer, along with George Lucas. Mangold also co-wrote the script alongside Jez Butterworth and John Henry Betterworth.
And John Williams, who composed the beautifully memorable score for the first four Indiana Jones movies, is back once again.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is in theatres on June 30, 2023! Don’t miss it!
