The episode Faith dialed up the drama and cranked up the action. Yumiko knows that Eugene will come up guilty from the trial, so she talks to Mercer to try to talk some sense into him. He plays coy and strong and isn’t persuaded by what Yumiko has to say. He knows that Princess was moved offsite and all that has been going on. Yumiko just wants him to know that as a leader, his stance makes a big difference to the public. Eugene, as expected, is found guilty in the mockery of a trial, to the public’s dismay. This episode ends with Eugene being taken to jail and brought in front of Mercer. Mercer looks at Eugene and coyly says, “time to fuck shit up.” With that, we know that it’s going to be on against Pamela.

The action was at Alexandria, and boy, was it stacked with action. Negan made a deal with the boss of the Outpost 22 crew, or so he thought, turning himself in as the leader of the uprising attempt. Negan’s deal was to have himself killed to spare the others, and in turn, it was his plan to give Ezekiel something to work with to inspire the others to fight back. Fitting to make an example of Negan, the soldiers woke up all of the workers to come and view the public execution. However, the swerve was on as the boss said there would be no martyrs here, and he has Negan’s wife pulled out of the crowd to sit next to Negan. Negan understandably flips out and says that wasn’t part of the deal! Negan pleads to a soldier being screwed out of leave to see his sick brother from this boss, and the soldier hesitates a bit to think it over.

Ezekiel can’t stand to watch this, so he steps passed the soldiers and stands in front of Negan, Magna, Kelly, Princess, Nebila, and others who are soon to follow and stand in front of Negan and his wife. Negan wants to know what Ezekiel’s plan is, and he admits he doesn’t have an idea. The boss of Outpost 22 says he respects what they are doing and orders all of them to be executed. The pissed-off soldier turns his gun on the boss, and another soldier gets in the way and catches the bullet instead. The boss grabs a gun, grabs Kelly, and starts backtracking, only to get stabbed by Daryl hahaha. The rest of the soldiers are surrounded and surrender.
