This episode opens to Lois telling the family that the Pewterschmidts are coming over for Thanksgiving. All of them. Lois gives Peter a shortlist and he screams as if in pain. A few groceries and a table. He’s not supposed to drink or lose his temper.
After trying to put the leaf in the table with Chris, Peter works to find an idea that will get him out of Thanksgiving dinner. Peter hates having Thanksgiving when he has to host. Joe and Cleveland talk about their Turkey days. Quagmire is the saddest. He had his last one with his blow-up dolls. The plan is completely reasonable. Peter, Joe, Quagmire, and Cleveland get arrested. Watch the episode to find out why. Apparently, they weren’t the only ones to have this idea so they get rerouted elsewhere.
Lois took up smoking because that’s what women with husbands in prison do. Stewie is engaged to more than one prisoner. I have no idea why I was surprised. They decide to join a gang so they are protected in the joint. They happened to get in there at Prison Rush Week. Cleveland manages to get into two gangs. Joe and Quagmire each get into one. Peter is kinda, sorta kicking it off with the Nazis. However, to get in Peter has to kill someone.
Miraculously (not really so shockingly though), Peter, Joe, Cleveland, and Quagmire get out of prison on Thanksgiving. Was Stewie the bride or the groom? Let me know what you think is in the comments below. Til next week…
