Rule number 32 “Enjoy the little things”, it can be hard to remember to do so in this whirlwind of a society. Even finding time to watch a movie can be cumbersome. However, if one does find the time, I hear Zombieland 2 is heading into theaters October 11th, 2019. That’s right! Everyone’s favorite band of oddballs is coming together to create the second installment of the Zombieland series.

Not many films are able to walk the line between comedy and horror so effortlessly. They usually end up being cheesy and unfulfilling, leaving their audience feeling a sense of emptiness and woe. However, director Ruben Fleischer, and writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick gave the world a movie people were yearning for in 2009, Zombieland.

Zombieland followed a rebellious group consisting of Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson), Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), Wichita (Emma Stone), and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) after the world had been plagued by a virus, turning everyone into zombies. They followed a select set of rules, including can’t forget to double-tap, as they made their way to a haven in Los Angeles, California. Together, they fought zombies, curbed cravings, and even fell in love along the way.

Without giving away too many details of the original movie away, they had a major hiccup when they made it to Pacific Playland in LA, many that bonded the misfits and allowed them to create this family unit that will hopefully last into the next movie. Zombies do have a way of bringing strangers together.

Check out the trailer I found:

Will these new additions be friends or foes? Why are they at the White House? I can only hope that Tallahassee is the president of the new world and has declared that the national dish of America is now Twinkies.
