What’s next for the Marvel masterminds?!

Anthony & Joe Russo at the premiere of Avengers: Endgame (2019).
Everyone knows the Russo brothers, made famous for their epic takeover of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the crafting of a mega multi-part story, ending in the insane experience that was Avengers: Endgame.
But it seems that the two have no immediate plans to return to the MCU, feeling that they’ve done their part for now — though they joked about returning for the upcoming SecretWars storyline — and are instead pursuing their own production company, called AGBO.
But for as new as AGBO is, it will be filled with many familiar faces. At least 5 films are already in production (or even post-production) from AGBO, and the leading casts include Chris Hemsworth, Tom Holland, Michael B. Jordan, and Chadwick Boseman.
Boseman’s project 21 Bridges, a NYC cop conspiracy thriller, already has a trailer:
The Russos nabbed Tom Holland to star in their adaptation of the autobiographical novel Cherry by Nico Walker, which follows a young boy as he gets wrapped up in a dangerous web of drug addiction and bank robbing.
Michael B. Jordan will star in the Russos’ remake of the 1999 drama The Thomas Crown Affair, in which a bored billionaire steals a Monet for fun, but accidentally falls for the detective that’s after him.
They also obtained the rights to the novel The Electric State — a dystopian, sci-fi cross country trek starring a girl and a robot.
Also greenlit from the pair is a Magic: The Gathering animated series at Netflix.
Finally, the duo announced adaptations of the comic book GrimJack and the American animated television show Battle of the Planets, which was itself an adaptation of a Japanese anime.

As you can see, there’s lot more coming from the Russo brothers, with a wide range of projects that will appeal to lots of different audiences. We’re very excited to see the next phase of the true heroes of Marvel’s career!
