Man, these Tuesdays come way too fast. Any who it’s Tuesday again and the pick of the week is Thoroughbreds.

Childhood friends Lily and Amanda reconnect in suburban Connecticut after years of growing apart. Lily has turned into a polished upper-class teenager who has a fancy boarding school on her transcript and a coveted internship on her resume. Amanda has developed a sharp wit and her own particular attitude but all in the process of becoming a social outcast. Though they initially seem completely at odds, the pair eventually bond and hatch a plan to solve both of their problems. – Focus Features
Same song and dance, I wanted to see Thoroughbreds but I missed it. Now I can see it and I’m stoked. The summary above does a bad job of describing the movie, from my understanding this is like American Psycho but with two teenage girls, sign me up. Plus, Thoroughbreds features one of Anton Yelchin’s last performances, he was a fantastic actor we lost too early.
