Sorry I’m so late with this, but we couldn’t forget about The Oscars. There was a lot of muted colors on the red carpet, but it was nice to see some people break that trend, and walk on the carpet with some color.

Saoirse Ronan wore a custom Calvin Klein by Appointment gown. She went along with the trend of wearing a softer color on the red carpet and I think she looks rather elegant. It’s a simple silhouette, but the surprise is when she turns around. The large bow and train really pulls the look together and makes it a show stopper. I also love that her shoes match and are also very subtle.

Jennifer Garner wore a custom Atelier Versace gown and I think she looks stunning. She was one of actresses who wore a bright color on the red carpet, and I applaud her for it. The gown is draped to perfection and it’s in a gorgeous blue color. I also like that her accessories don’t distract from her outfit.

Margot Robbie wore a custom Chanel gown. She also choose to wear a softer color and I think it really stands out against the red carpet. The dress looks pretty simple, but there really is a lot going on; with the different layers of fabric and the detailing around the shoulders. It looks great on her and I love that her makeup also exudes a fresh feel, just like her dress.
Keala Settle wore a Christian Siriano gown and she is rocking it. The dress is gorgeously detailed and I especially love how the detailing goes down her arms, creating sheer sleeves. The off the shoulder cut is perfect on her and her bold earrings compliment the detailing on her dress.

Miguel wore a Carlos Campos suit during his musical performance. The whole ensemble was simple, yet had flair at the same time. The white piping on the suit really took it to another level and the white shoes were a nice change from the usual black.

Chadwick Boseman wore a Givenchy suit and he really wasn’t holding back. He’s still in Black Panther mode, and he brought it to the red carpet. I like the longer length of the jacket and the amazing intricate detailing. Also, the shoes made the look super edgy.

Ansel Elgort wore a Tom Ford tuxedo. Ansel always looks stylish on the red carpet and he didn’t disappoint. Some actors chose to wear bold colors on the carpet and I liked Ansel’s choice of green. I rarely see this color worn by men on the carpet and I really like it.
