The first batch of guests have been announced for the 2018 Image Expo taking place in Portland, OR later this month.
The spotlight is on Tee Franklin, writer of the critically acclaimed Bingo Love that is being released by Image Comics next week. The book was originally a Kickstarter project that was able to raise almost $60,000 after receiving 2017 Queer Press Grant. Franklin is an avid activist for LGBT and the disabled and has spent much of her time as a comic creator fighting for inclusion in comics. Bingo Love will hit comic shelves on February 14th 2018.
Over the course of the expo, we’ll see announcements from Nick Pitarra, Robert Kirkman and Rick Remender as well as many other guests and projects that have yet to be announced. This is just an early announcement of guests so make sure to check back here to find out more as they’re announced.
As always, the expo will be full of sales, exclusives, announcements, signings and panels.
