Dissidia: Final Fantasy NT, originally released only in Japan for arcades, features the heroes and villains from the mainline Final Fantasy games as they fight for the fate of their universe. This is the third entry and first console game in the series, while the first two were released exclusively for the PSP handheld a few years ago to great, critical acclaim. While those two previous games featured only 1 on 1 fights, Dissidia: Final Fantasy NT is set to have 3 on 3 fights and up to 6 player online multiplayer battles using a brand new engine and game mechanics.

A closed beta for Dissidia: Final Fantasy NT is schedule to occur later in August via invitation only. So be sure to enter at the official Square Enix Beta Site for a chance to partake in it.
