Pokemon Go: Summer Solstice Event!

Hey guys! Pokeon Go ha been on another level with their events, and the start of Summer is no exception! With the Summer Solstice approaching, Niantic has released the Solstice Event – only active from June 13th to June 20th! The features of the event are fairly simple, but include a discount on Lucky Eggs, as well as XP bonuses for good Pokeball throws! According to multiple sources, these are the following Pokemon to look out for during the event:

Generation 1 – Fire:

  • Charmander/Charmeleon/Charizard
  • Growlithe/Arcanine
  • Vulpix/Ninetales
  • Flareon
  • Ponyta/Rapidash

Generation 2 – Fire:

  • Cyndaquil/Quilava/Typhlosion
  • Slugma/Magcargo
  • Houndour/Houndoom

Generation 1 – Ice:

  • Shellder/Cloyster
  • Smoochum/Jynx
  • Seel/Dewgong
  • Lapras

Generation 2 – Ice: 

  • Sneasel
  • Swinub/Pillowswine
  • Delibird
