As you could’ve seen here at The Game Of Nerds we are stoked about the newest Spiderman movie that is set to arrive in six Months! After my last post discussing everything we knew at that time, I’ve got some more bits and bobs to tell you.

1. Filming Location
Since filming the movie is as good as finished, it is safe to say that the majority of filming was done in Atlanta. This says something about possible Avengers-related content because the Porsche facility in Atlanta is used as the new Avengers’ base from Age of Ultron onwards. So will Peter be spending a good amount of time over at the grown-up superheroes’ HQ with Tony, getting tooled up and trained? Let’s hope so!

2. Vulture & Villains
While I was writing my last post, the possible bad guy that Spidey has to defeat wasn’t a 100% clear yet. But with the arrival of the first trailer we now know for sure that Michael Keaton will be the main villain Vulture. And I must say, he does an excellent job at being genuinely terrifying with and without his Vulture suit. But he will not be the only villain making Peters life hard. The Tinkerer and The Shocker will find a way to join in on the fun.

Word is that the Tinkerer will supply technology to both Shocker and Vulture. And that The Tinkerer is an ex-Stark Industries employee wanting revenge to prove that Tony was wrong for firing him. He will be played by Michael Chernus, known from Orange is the New Black.

Shocker will be played by Bokeem Woodbine in a very creepy costume.

3. Trailer
In case you’ve missed it (how is that even possible?) we have the trailer for you here!

This is all we know so far, and I can’t wait for Spider-man Homecoming to hit theaters July 7th, 2017 to see it in the cinema!
