Mom’s love this movie. My mom told me to watch it, my friends mom told her to watch it. Seriously ask your mom if she watched it (she did). Why? Probably because your mom loves you and has a heart, which is what this movie is. It’s a big beating heart of sweetness.

The concept: Vincent (Bill Murray) is an alcoholic slob who starts babysitting Oliver (Melissa McCarthy’s son). Eventually Vincent takes him gambling, bar hopping, and his prostitute’s (soon to be girlfriend) place, loosing Oliver’s mom full custody. Here’s the kicker, Oliver loves Vincent and how he taught him how to be brave and true to himself. Ah anti-heroism.

The movie weaves Bill Murray’s unlikeable Scrooge, and Melissa McCarthy’s lost mom to tell a story about how brokenness is the key to Sainthood. Here’s the end scene where Oliver presents his class project.
