Mr. Lemony Snicket has spoken, and his words bring dire news… And by dire, we mean super exciting to us nerds, because this is the news of the release date for Season 1 – January 13, 2017.
The first trailer for Netflix’s adaptation of “A Series of Unfortunate Events” has been released, revealing Patrick Warburton’s portrayal of Mr. Snicket, who is, as usual, quite depressed about this news.
Mr. Snicket’s monologue advises viewers to look away, and to not make “the same mistake Netflix did” by watching this new show. He is briefly interrupted by the cackling sing-song laughter that can only belong to Count Olaf himself (portrayed by Neil Patrick Harris.)
