This is our review of the second and third day of Wizard World Raleigh .

Jen: I was pretty impressed with the first year of Wizard World Raleigh. I liked that there were well known actors in attendance, there were a slew of artists and the dealer room was really varied in products offered.
Nicole: We were able to go for a good part of Saturday and Sunday and found those attending to be a mellow crowd, including the people in line for David Tennent’s signing, we were surprised as well. We didn’t really see any inappropriate behavior during the day, though we can’t speak for night time activities.

Jen: I bought a Sailor Pluto Transformation Wand, made out of a wood, I’m a sucker for handmade items though. It’s sturdy and looks fantastic at my cubicle. There were many, many 10th doctors, probably because David Tennant was there, which was a shock! Apparently he’s part of the whole Wizard World Convention Tour, the more you know.

Nicole: We did go to one panel, which was about a new Comic Book company that will hopefully be seeing more of sometime this year, there will be a Kickstarter campaign for it. We thought the panel was ok and we wanted to hear more about the company and who’s involved with it, but it felt more like those asking questions were attacking the creator of the company.
Jen: We’re really looking forward to covering more things with Wizard World.
