On January 23rd a remaster of the classic Star Wars game Star Wars: Jedi Power Battles that lets you play either solo or co-op as jedi knights through the events of Star Wars Episode 1 is being released.

While the original game had a sizeable cast of playable characters such as Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-wan Kenobi and Mace Windu and some unlockable character like Darth Maul it has been announced the new game will include even more characters including Jar Jar Binks. While not all the characters have been revealed yet, here are just a few characters I would like to see added. While it appears, they are sticking within the Episode 1 era for the game I am including characters from all eras of the Star Wars storyline, mostly out of wishful thinking. Here are a few, in no particular order

Kelnacca

A relatively new jedi addition to the Star Wars mythos Kelnacca is a Wookie jedi knight who first in appeared in the Disney plus series The Acolyte which takes place decades before Episode I. Sadly both the series and the character itself did not survive season 1, but that does not mean the Wookie jedi cannot make a guest appearance in Jedi Power Battles. While Chewbacca might be a more popular choice, I think the Wookie jedi could be fun and why not include a Chewbacca skin to appease the fans. Maybe even a Black Krrsantan skin?

Jango/Boba Fett

It would probably make more sense for Jango Fett to appear in this since he is a prequel era character and would fit in. That and the fact he recently appeared in the Bounty Hunter remaster which was developed by the same company ASPYR the odds of him appear might be decent. He and Boba would likely play similarly so instead of both characters we would probably see a Boba skin for Jango. Maybe even a Din Djarin skin?

Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker

Unlike Boba and Jango despite being technically the same person I feel like Darth Vader and Anakin would feel like two different characters to play so there might be room for both, but Episode II-III Anakin makes the most sense although Vader would be fun as well. If they want to keep things in the realm of episode 1 a young Ani might be the choice too

Han Solo

While Luke Skywalker seems like the obvious inclusion from the Original Trilogy, I think Han Solo would be more fun

Ben Solo/Kylo Ren

If a character or two is included from the original movies it would only be fair for at least one from the sequel era to be included and Ben Solo is the most obvious option, although Rey is a close second.  We would probably see him in his outfit from the sequels, but there might be room for a young Ben, from his time training with Luke, skin. If Darth Vader or Anakin Skywalker is also included this may be the chance for Ben to be united with his grandfather for the first time.

Kit Fisto

While he wasn’t introduced until Episode II Kit Fisto would fit right in with the other jedi featured

Darth Sidious

While the apprentice Darth Maul is included as a character in the remaster (he was unlockable in the original game) why not his master?  I will admit Darth Sidious may end up being a little clunky to play with, but it would still be fun to have the option

Aurra Sing

An often-overlooked character who first appeared in Episode I Aurra Sing had a brief cameo during the pod race, but has been given more depth with expanded material even making her force sensitive and later and mentor to Boba Fett himself

Count Dokku

Count Dooku was a jedi knight during the events of Phantom Menace before joining Darth Sidious in between Episodes I and II so his inclusion might be a little less far-fetched than other characters on this list

Yoda

Another less far-fetched inclusion Yoda would be hard to include mostly for his short stature, but with updated graphics and controls I think it can be done. If Yoda makes an appearance perhaps there is room for Yaddle too.

General Grevious

I want to see General Grievous just for the fun of wielding multiple lightsabers at once

Ahsoka Tano

It would be fun to see Ahsoka be reunited with her old comrades Obi-wan and Mace Windu and perhaps even her master Anakin in some jedi action. The Clone Wars version of Ahsoka would probably be the obvious choice, but there could also be room for the grown-up version.

Those are just a few characters I would like to see. What characters would you like to see in the remaster of Jedi Power Battles and what classic star wars game would you want to see ASPYR tackle next?
