New Marvel films always generate a lot of attention. In the upcoming seasons, fans of the film industry are expecting several high-profile new releases.
Fantastic Four
The sixth phase of the Marvel cinematic universe will open with a highly anticipated film by everyone – “Fantastic Four”. That’s what, and the rumors of appointments for the roles in this foursome do not subside for a single month. Here, for example, Reed Richards has already asked Adam Driver. And it’s only a matter of time before they do. “Spider-Man 4” has been exciting fans around the world for quite some time now, as the third installment set an incredible bar after which fans want a sequel. However, the star of the spider, aka Peter Parker, is now in a kind of depression, and has decided to abandon the immediate plans and live in peace without any of your Instagrams.
Marvel have said they want to continue working with Tom Holland. However, sticks in the wheels can put Sony, which has the main rights to the red friendly neighbor. Holland recently shined in the series “Crowded Room” and after that the actor said that he is exhausted and wants to rest. Oh, and critics have also trashed the series, so Tom is not having a happy day at all and probably the actor will need to recover from such a thing. Only one thing is clear, that the outline of the future film is already there, because Holland met with the bosses of Sony, and the actor liked the plot.
Armour Wars
What else is left in Marvel’s boot? A vague film called “Armour Wars,” which they intend to make after all. In it, Don Cheadle will interact with the Tony Stark suits we saw in the third Iron Man as his new status. It’s that Tony Stark legacy. At first it’s true they wanted to make a TV series, but the guys counted the dollars and realised it would be more profitable to make a film. It’ll be fun to watch and even nostalgic.
Dr Strange 3
Another equally poignant film, namely “Doctor Strange 3” is also keeping the suspense going and fans are fully expecting the sequel. According to insiders, the plot of the third film will smoothly flow from the end of the second film, where Clea, the same sorceress played by Charlize Theron, invites Strange to a new adventure.
Judging from the comic book, the main plot will unfold on the very same multiverse, which is still not calmed down. The film also doesn’t have a definite release date yet, which means it could either pop up out of the blue or planned like other Marvel projects. Kevin Feige’s mind is still holding on to “Shang-Chi 2” and “Eternals 2,” films that expanded the film universe and gave brand new characters.
Avengers: The Kang Dynasty” and “Avengers: Secret Wars
The main anticipated event for Marvel fans is the Avengers film. So far, the release grid shows that the first Kang Dynasty film will be released on 1 May 2026, but the second Secret Wars film will be released on 7 May 2027. The plot information is still so unclear that even Kevin Feige himself doesn’t know who will be there or what will happen.
Jonathan Majors has been in trouble for a while now, which means Kang could theoretically be removed from his main pedestal by simply changing the title of the film. Marvel has plenty of iconic villains as it is, but Secret Wars is such a mirage. At this rate Avengers will be postponed ten times and we will see the films in 2030. So much for the crisis. Secret Wars could be directed by Shawn Levy, the director of the third Deadpool, or Sam Raimi. The year 2024 promises to be very busy with flagship releases from Marvel, projects will finish filming, and the strikes will end.
